Three steps on Google Maps
Open Google Maps and search like a customer
Type your trade and suburb the way a customer would: "plumber Williamstown", "electrician Footscray".
Click the Local Pack Check icon
You see who ranks for that search, with their ratings and review counts.
Open your own listing and click "This is my business"
From then on, every check lists your gaps against the top three, biggest first, with the fix for each one.
Pin the icon so it is one click away. Click the puzzle piece in Chrome's toolbar, then the pin next to Local Pack Check.
Make asking for reviews easy
Open your own listing and click Make my review card. You get a printable card with a QR code that opens your Google review form. Hand one to every customer at the end of every job.
