Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Last updated August 2026.

Who we are

Scalepoint is a digital marketing agency based in Melbourne, Australia. We operate at scalepoint.au and provide paid advertising and SEO services to Australian businesses. References to "Scalepoint", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Scalepoint and its operators.

What information we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us, including your name, business name, email address, phone number, and website URL, when you submit the contact or audit request form on this website. If you use the AI chat assistant on this site, we also collect the messages you send it, along with any contact details you give it. We may also collect information passively through cookies and analytics tools (see our Cookie Policy for detail). We do not collect payment card details directly; payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy and security obligations.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiry, prepare your free audit, deliver the services you engage us for, send service-related communications (onboarding, billing, reporting), and improve the content and performance of this website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing purposes without your consent.

Third-party tools and platforms

Running paid advertising campaigns requires us to operate within third-party platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and any other publisher accounts you grant us access to. These platforms have their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We access your accounts only to perform the services you have engaged us for. We do not use your advertiser account data for any purpose outside of managing your campaigns.

Service providers we use to run this website

Separately from the advertising platforms above, we rely on a small number of providers to operate this site and handle enquiries: Vercel hosts the website; Supabase stores enquiries in our customer records; Resend delivers our email; Anthropic provides the AI model behind the chat assistant, which means the messages you send it are processed by Anthropic; and the analytics providers named below. Each processes your information only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any of them or to anyone else.

Where your information is stored

Some of the providers above store and process information outside Australia, primarily in the United States: this includes our analytics, chat, email and hosting providers. By submitting an enquiry or using the chat assistant, you consent to your information being handled overseas on this basis. We take reasonable steps to use providers with recognised security and privacy practices, but overseas recipients are subject to the laws of the country they operate in rather than Australian privacy law.

Analytics and tracking

This website uses several analytics and measurement tools: Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager), PostHog, Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, and the Meta pixel. Most of what they collect is anonymised, pages visited, time on site, general geographic location, page performance, and which buttons and forms are used. One exception is worth stating plainly: when you submit an enquiry form, we pass your email address, name, trade, and service areas to PostHog so that the enquiry can be tied to the visit it came from. That is personal information, held by PostHog rather than anonymised. The Meta pixel runs on every page of this site, not only when we are running paid campaigns. You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and PostHog and the Meta pixel are both blocked by most browser tracking-protection settings and common ad-blocking extensions. See our Cookie Policy for the cookie-level detail.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored on secure systems with access limited to Scalepoint personnel who need it to deliver your services. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. However, no transmission over the internet is fully secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as we have an active service relationship with you, and for a reasonable period after that relationship ends to comply with legal obligations and resolve any disputes. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us directly.

Access and correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct any inaccuracies. To make a request, contact us at hello@scalepoint.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your request, you can raise a complaint with us at the same address, and if we cannot resolve it you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
